Sunday afternoon on West Lake

“Above is heaven, below is Hangzhou” goes the Chinese saying. Peach trees and willow trees are planted alternately around the lake. The fragrance of peach blossoms and the beauty of their blooms draw many to the lake during this season.

Tea Fields

Tea plantations and tea houses are a main attraction in Hangzhou. Yesterday my Chinese class took a tour ending with a tea ceremony.
